The Discovery Process

The Haldane School District considered three different questions related to College and Career Readiness during this process:

  • What are the characteristics of our district right

now, in this moment in time?

  • What are we preparing our graduates for, using

the graduate of 2024 as our indicator?

  • How do we ensure that we are preparing our

students for the world they will face when they graduate? How do we get there?

What 21st Century Skills are necessary to create metacognitive graduates who have a curious and entrepreneurial spirit? What supports are necessary to create an environment where the civic and social conditions for learning are infused in all we do?
