The Discovery Process

The Haldane School District considered three different questions related to College and Career Readiness during this process:

• What are the characteristics of our district right

now, in this moment in time?

• What are we preparing our graduates for, using

the graduate of 2024 as our indicator?

• How do we ensure that we are preparing our

students for the world they will face when they graduate? How do we get there?

Time Line

August PEBC (Public Education and Business Coalition) met with Administrators and Board of Education over two days to discuss our thoughts for the graduate of 2024 and where we are currently as a school district September The Administrators met with the faculty and staff to discuss the graduate of 2024 October ‐ December The Administrators met with parents to discuss the graduate

The Strategic Plan will be developed throughout the late winter and early spring. Our plan will be presented to the Board of Education in May of 2015.
