Deliver the Right Projects Expand the use of data-driven project prioritization (scoring of projects). Manage contracts for on-time delivery. Ensure project development readiness exceeds project delivery capacity. Focus on the Customer Provide technological improvements to enhance the availability of transportation information for the traveling public and our partners. Provide mechanisms for public feedback. Provide staff training on effective customer service. Foster Stewardship Implement central mechanism for identifying and implementing the use of cost-saving ideas to support increased project delivery. Optimize System Performance Establish a statewide integrated traffic management system. Improve traffic information for more efficient freight movement by developing connected freight corridors. Coordinate with local transportation entities to ensure the efficiency of the

Finalize and implement asset management and resiliency planning activities. Request funding for and implement the deferred maintenance plan for TxDOT facilities. Promote Safety Focus efforts to mitigate rising pedestrian fatalities and increase mobility and safety. Include more safety features on projects and rely less exclusively on Highway Safety Improvement Plan (HSIP) for funding. Continue proactive educational, training and technological measure to further reduce incident rates for occupational and driver safety of TxDOT employees. Value Our Employees Invest in our employees through education, technology and workplace enhancements. Provide technology tools and training to enhance productivity. Request funding for and implement campus consolidation plans.
