It’s also the birthplace of the famous and traditional dish paella. Valencia is a very diverse city, so it can offer something for everyone.   8. CARO HOTEL ***** Located in the heart of the city. Caro Hotel is the first historical monument-hotel in Valencia. The hotel features a 1 Michelin Star restaurant called Sucede, where you can enjoy the gastronomic history of Valencia combined with creativity and techniques from the 21 st century.

It’s an exclusive 5 -star luxury hotel. There are 236 rooms of 9 types. All the rooms are spacious and bright which provide the ideal relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a wide range of dining services. The main restaurant ‘’Brasserie Sorolla ’’ offers a subtle and varied menu without any extravagant proposals, loyal to traditional cuisine and with an exquisite presentation. The other restaurant is the Blue Pool Bar & Restaurant. This is a casual and fun concept, located next to the swimming pool. The hotel also features a large spa and a hair salon. The hotel uses natural materials like wood, iron and ceramic. The hotel contains 85 rooms and suites with a contemporary design. Located on the mezzanine level of the hotel is The Little Queen located. This Mediterranean restaurant serves local, seasonal and fresh products with a touch from other cultures. There is also a bar in the hotel where you can have a drink or lounge. The hotel supports emerging artists by organizing temporary photography exhibition, integrating the works within the hotel decoration.

  12. MELIÁ V ALENCIA **** The Meliá Valencia is located in one of the most important and dynamic areas of Valencia, near the Congress Centre in the Avenida de les Corts Valencianes. All the 303 rooms in the hotel are comfortable, bright and outward facing. Meliá Valencia has a spectacular Convention Centre with 21 rooms and a capacity of 875 people.   19. VISIT A ORANGE GROVE If you walk through Valencia, you will see oranges all around you, but most of them are not edible. But you can visit a orange grove and get a guided tour along the quiet farm roads. Here you will discover the history of the crops and trees. Collect your own oranges in the orchard or do a tasting of derivative products such as juice, beer or liqueur.

  20. BIKING THROUGH THE FORMER TURIA RIVER-BED The Turia River used to provide water for the growth of rice, olives and oranges. In the 1960’s the river was diverted to prevent it from flooding Valencia. The old part has been transformed into a natural park, where you can enjoy amazing cycle routes.
