All teams start off the game with a Fair Play Score of 10. Demerits can range from -2 to -25 depending on infraction. Teams may earn merit by submitting a referee evaluation within two weeks of the date of a game. Teams who receive more than 90 demerits in the season will have to meet with the discipline committee to determine what action needs to be taken to improve this and to determine their eligibility to play in the league.
