Product Lineup
LASTA MC Filter Press
LASTA MC ‐ Typical Flow
LASTA MC – Process Mechanism
- 1. Plate Closing
- 3. Compression
- 4. Plate Opening
- 5. Cake Discharge
- 6. Cloth Washing
Feed slurry Compressed water
- 2. Slurry Feeding
LASTA MC ‐ Mechanism
- 1. Press Close
- 2. Feeding
- 3. Compression
Feed slurry Pressurized water
All filter plates are closed simultaneously by Plate Travel motor and clamped by hydraulic cylinders. Once the plates are clamped together, slurry feed channel is formed at the top of plates. Slurry is fed from the top feed channel into each filter chamber, filtered by two filter cloth and then formed the filter cake. Filtrate is discharge out from the filtrate chute positioned on the bottom core of each plates. (Top Feeding) Pressurized water (air) is injected into the inside of diaphragm. the filter cake is further compressed and dewatered. compressed air is applied for less than 0.7MPa
- compression. Higher compression
applies to compressed water.
LASTA MC ‐ Mechanism
- 4. Plate Opening
- 5. Cake Discharge
- 6. Cloth Washing
After compression process, dripping pan is opened and hydraulic cylinder is clamped
- ff and all plates are opened
simultaneously by Plate Travel system. At the same time with press
- pen, dewatered cake is
discharge out of each chamber simultaneously. Undischarged cakes are monitored and forcibly discharged with vibration mechanism. After cake discharge process is completed, dripping pan is closed and then all filter cloth are washed simultaneously by spray nozzles positioned at the center and both sides
- f the cloth support bar.
LASTA MC ‐ Mechanism (option)
Cake Wash Back Wash Air Blow
Compressed air is fed into the chamber from one side of filtrate channel and blow out the remained filtrate out of filter cake. In order to remove unnecessary dissolved substance from the cake or extract the dissolved precious materials as filtrate, Cake Wash Process is applied as option. The wash water penetrate and replace the dissolved substance in the cake with wash water. Replaced liquid is discharged out as filtrate.
LASTA MC ‐ Advantages 1
All filter chambers simultaneously
- pened and closed by Plate Traveling
System, which make possible to discharge the cake simultaneously and shorten process cycle time. It results in higher production capacity than conventional Filter Press.
Simultaneous All Chambers Open & Close System
LASTA MC ‐ Advantages 2
Cake Discharge monitoring system with back-up Mechanism
Undischarged cake is monitored by cloth support bar position detective sensor and then forcibly discharged by cloth vibration mechanism, which result in no need labors for cake discharge.
LASTA MC ‐ Advantages 3
The main maintenance work for Filter Cloth is replacement of filter clothes. LASTA MC makes possible to replace the filter cloth very easily and quickly due to its simple structure. Filter cloth replacement time shall be a min per chamber, which shortens down time and save labors cost.
Simple Structure, Easy Maintenance
LASTA MC ‐ Advantages 4
Efficient Filter Cloth Wash System
In every cycle, all Filter Cloths are washed simultaneously by the spray nozzles mounted on the cloth support bars, which doesn’t leave the cake
- residue. The efficient cloth wash
contribute to high and consistent performance of LASTA MC.
Robust and Simple Design for 24hrs fully automatic operation
LASTA MC is mechanically simplified and designed with robust and less moving parts, which leas to 24hours fully automatic operation under severe operating conditions.
