Accurate Binder Feeder

Aran SiloFeedIII

  • Adjustable side seals compensate for metering belt wear.
  • New deep metering cleats reduce belt speed & increase

feeder life.

  • Very accurate dimensional control of case & mechanical

components.

  • Metering belt can be changed in one hour from one side

without need to dismantle bearings, pulleys, or sensors.

  • Integral self clearing system to clear internal leakage.

The purpose of the weir is to retard the flow of the mixture which allows the paddles more time to blend the materials.

slide-15
SLIDE 15

Continuous Mixing Time. Less may be more!

  • In a continuous mixer, material enters

at one end and exits the other.

  • Transit time is a function of;
  • Mixing blade size,
  • Mixing blade angle,
  • Speed,
  • Length.

PASTE BACKFILL SYSTEM PROJECT DELIVERY MODEL

For Large Projects with Long Schedules and Multiple Alliance Members

2011 Shane Dunstan

slide-46
SLIDE 46

Agenda

This presentation will summarise the process by which Aran will coordinate the delivery of packages for the Development and Commissioning of Backfill Systems for Total Backfill System Supply. The Aran alliance team method of project delivery has been developed after considerable industry engagement and project planning analysis. The delivery of a “total backfill system” in “project packages” provides both the mine and the Aran led group of suppliers the strength of confidence and flexibility to deliver a comprehensive backfill system in good time and budget.

slide-47
SLIDE 47

Aran Alliance Team

The Aran Alliance Team represents the network of companies Aran will lead for the supply and commissioning of all engineering, equipment and technical services for the Backfill System.

  • Client / Project Lead EPC
  • Expert Backfill Design Consultants
  • Aran Consulting Engineering Services
  • Aran Equipment Suppliers
  • FL Smidth
  • Putzmeister
  • Weir Minerals
  • Rockwell
  • Aran Manufacturing Services

Total Backfill System

The “Total Backfill System” is comprised of up to Five (5) discrete “Project Packages” These Project Packages can be delivered individually and to some degree independently both commercially and technically. They are independent in financial and time schedules. All five Project Packages can be grouped as a single Total Backfill System supply, yet each package will remain as clearly independent commercial milestones.
