Company

Sire is the first company in the MONT.EL Group set up in Romania. It is located in Arad (near Timişoara, a well-known industrial centre and the country's multicultural capital), next to Techtron, another of the Group’s Romanian companies that specialises in the production of electronic components. Sire manufactures wiring harnesses and electromechanical and electrical assemblies for use in a wide variety of industrial sectors. Over time, the company has evolved significantly in terms of organisation, adapting its skills to changing market

• requirements. Like the other members of the Group, Sire can count on strong synergies, enabling it to supply a finished

product.

Network

Sire is part of the MONT.EL Group, a network of companies operating in evolved outsourcing that can develop a full range of products and services for harnesses, electronic control and regulation equipment, and level, pressure, temperature and rotation sensors. The network has 6 companies and 9 production units – seven in Italy, the main ones being in Sale Marasino, and two in Romania - all of which adopt a UNI EN ISO 9001-2008 Quality System. The other five companies are:

• Mont.el, the parent company founded in 1972, designs and manufactures harnesses, and electrical and electronic

equipment.

• Euroswitch, which designs and makes level sensors, pressure switches, temperature sensors, rotation sensors and flow

meters;

• Intea, which designs and makes electronic drive and control equipment and electronic equipment applied to sensors, or

developed using state-of-the-art technology;

• Ame, which specialises in the design and manufacture of electrical equipment for use in various areas of industry;
• Techtron Romania, the latest newcomer, which makes electronic equipment and circuit boards.

Quality and innovation

Guaranteed quality Sire’s production system is internationally certified under UNI EN ISO 9001-2008, proof of the excellence of the corporate management system and product quality. All products undergo total quality control and 100% testing throughout production, in addition to regular in-process inspections to make sure they are entirely functional and safe to use. Services Production Sire makes wiring harnesses with all possible types of finish. The production bays use fully automated high-tech machinery to process the cable. Baring, cutting and stripping processes are carried out entirely automatically, with electronic control of the crimping. These and other stages connected with assembly of the harnesses are carried out by latest-generation equipment controlled by highly-skilled operators. Testing The company operators apply total quality control at all stages of production. Every single product turned out by Sire subjected to testing for 100% and continuous checks throughout the manufacturing process to guarantee total efficiency and safety, and compliance with customer specifications.
