LEGAL AGREEMENT

A four party legal agreement executed in July 2002 by Montgomery College Board of Trustees, City of Takoma Park, Historic Takoma Inc., and Montgomery County Executive. The Agreement calls for consultation on development of major or substantial changes or alterations to existing buildings including:

  • Preservation of historic character of the neighborhood
  • Compliance with tree protection & stormwater laws
  • Early and transparent involvement of community
