  13. Your Street, Coldwater, Michigan 49036•Your Phone•Your EMAIL Your Name Ob Objective The reason why I plan to attend college is to obtain a full time job in the food service industry. Attending college will give me everything I need to be able to open and operate my own restaurant. I fell in love with the food service industry after enrolling in the Culinary Arts program at the Branch Area Careers Center. In this rigorous program I was able to experience real world applications like measurements, recipes, and food preparation techniques. I found something I truly loved to do. With this, I also found I was doing better in my traditional classes at Coldwater High School. In volunteering my time, I found it rewarding to work at the Masonville House using my skills in food service to help with food preparation and details in serving the clients breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I believe in myself, what I love, and my work ethic. This is what will ensure my success in college. I know that being successful will help me to help others. This is what drives and motivates me to be successful. Please consider me for your scholarship because, in a family of 10, I want to stand out, make a name for myself, and help others. I can only accomplish this with your generous financial support.
