(us$ 50 Mn.) for NAPSrC for FY 20-21. ➢ The Ministry supports 512 Elder Care Homes, 26 MMUs, 11Physiotherapy centres. ➢ Ministry has appointed 8 RRTCs (Regional Resource & Training Centers in the

• country. RRTC are responsible for Capacity Building of Elder Care Home, Training
• f Caregivers, Creating Awareness on Government Policies & Programmes etc.

➢ Under National Programme for Health Care of Elderly (NPHCE) 24,855 Primary Heath Centres and 5,335 Community Health Centres are operational country wide. ➢ There are 1,234 Sub Divisional / sub District Hospitals are operational with 13,750 Doctors and 36,809 paramedical staff. ➢ In additional 756 District hospitals are functioning with 24,676 Doctors and 85,194 paramedical staff. ➢ Also there are 900,000 ASHA workers (Accredited Social Health Activist) and 2,08,000 ANM ( Auxiliary Nurse-Midwife) supporting health care system.
