Project Information Description: Project consists of the design, permitting, and construction of a new sanitary sewer system. The intent of the project will be to decommission the existing package plant located within the community of Harbor Lights Mobile Home Resort and connect into Citrus County’s wastewater collection system. The wastewater flows will be re‐directed to the Point O Woods WWTF. Project Start: 2019 Project Completion: 2024 Funding: Total Cost: $572,000 FDEP Share: $512,500 County Share: $60,000 Project Benefit: The project benefit will be the reduction of pollutant loads by an estimated amount of 138 lbs/yr TN. 4

Project Information Description: Project consists of the design, permitting, and construction of a sanitary sewer collection system which will provide a point of connection of 200 existing homes that are currently on private septic systems located in the Old Homosassa East Downtown Area. These home will then be subject to the County’s mandatory connection ordinance. Connection will be the owner’s responsibility and is not included in this project. Project Start: 2020 Project Completion: 2024 Funding: Total Cost: $15,000,000 FDEP Share: $7,500,000 District Share: $250,000 FY 2020; $2,493,000 Future Years County Share: $2,493,000 Other: $2,013,200 State Appropriation Funds Project Benefit: The project benefit will be the reduction of pollutant loads to the Homosassa/Chassahowitzka Springs Groups by an estimated amount of 1,909 lbs/yr TN. This project is the continuation of Citrus County’s effort to provide wastewater service to existing residential and commercial developments adjacent to the Homosassa River. 4
