“…before I could even blink, the lifeguard had blown a good full blast of his whistle to alert everyone, jumped

  • ff his chair and was to the

little guy, again before you could even blink. He kept asking the little guy if he was ok and helped him to the stairs and consoled him as the poor little guy was crying about what had just

  • happened. I just wanted to

let you know how impressed I was with what I saw.”

HOW AMAZING IS OUR STAFF?

“I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with what I saw. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach and had never witnessed a lifeguard reaction like the one I saw yesterday and cannot speak highly enough of the young man who jumped down and saved that boy!”

“…such a great group

  • f guards on duty!”

“Please pass along what a great job your life guards are doing there and that their efforts are not going unnoticed.”

“It was evident to me that if someone did not come to his rescue he was going to drown (I am not exaggerating this by any means). Before I could even get up to react I saw another life guard in the water converging on the child and proceed to scoop him up towards the edge to the pool.”

Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all

  • ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-

impact workout and it’s also a good way to relax and feel good. The importance of swimming lessons for water safety can’t be overstated. Everyone, especially children, should be able to swim. Sadly, this is not the case and every day 9 people die by drowning. In the U.S. swimming is an important life skill. I play a huge role in molding young citizens in the work force and teach them skills they can use for the rest of their lives.
