  13.  Offer youth fitness classes that are in-line with current fitness trends and encourage activity amongst children.  Martial Arts  Tae Kwon Do and self defense classes offered for ages 3-16  Tumbling – private and group lessons  All skill levels ages 18 months – 19 years old. Floor work, low beam, conditioning and more.  Youth Sports Performance Training  This program will help young athletes develop strength, speed, endurance, agility, coordination, and flexibility. Offered in one-on-one sessions or as a small group class for kids training for the same sport.  Weight Room training and orientations

One-on-One Training ($25,000 in revenue)   Personal training customized to individual goals and needs including and assessment and evaluation. Small Group Training ($18,000 in revenue)   Customized training for groups of 3-5 participants. Fitness Reprogram   If you like to workout on your own but need a new routine schedule a reprogram and one of our trainers will customize a workout for you to follow on your own.

Monthly ask the doctor sessions  National Women’s Health Week  This National event is an effort to encourage women to embrace health through  preventative screenings, moderate exercise and good nutrition. In recognition, the Renaud Spirit Center offered a variety of FREE classes, lectures, screenings, health information and snacks. Let’s Move Initiative  Let’s Move! is a comprehensive initiative that was launched by the First Lady in 2010 and is  dedicated to solving the problem of obesity with the help of elected officials, cities, towns, and counties. Communities participating in this initiative commit to five achievable, measurable goals. The five goals are designed to promote sustainable strategies that will improve the health of local The City of O’Fallon has achieved all of these goals and is now considered a Model city.

  18. Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low- impact workout and it’s also a good way to relax and feel good. The importance of swimming lessons for water safety can’t be overstated. Everyone, especially children, should be able to swim. Sadly, this is not the case and every day 9 people die by drowning. In the U.S. swimming is an important life skill. I play a huge role in molding young citizens in the work force and teach them skills they can use for the rest of their lives.

  19.  The Aquatics and Fitness Division had over 9,500 participants in our programs in 2015.  We all have Manager on Duty shifts at the Renaud Spirit Center and/or Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center. All of us combined work as the Manager on Duty 1600 hours a year.  We all help each other out with special events in Aquatics and Fitness Division as well as department wide special events.  Combined we have over 64 years of experience in the Parks and Recreation Field.  Combined we hold over 14 certifications.
