CSS Academic Success Workshops  Fall/Spring Workshop Series  Presented virtually throughout the semester  Focused on topics such as time management, test taking/finals prep, learning styles, etc.  NEW topics to include success in a virtual environment, using online tools for time management, and preparing for online advising appointments

  7. CSS Supplemental Academic Advising SUPPLEMENTAL to assigned Departmental Advisor  Major/Career exploration courses  Assistance in choosing courses for Liberal Learning requirements  Policies/procedures clarification  Helping to create academic plan

CSS Supplemental Academic Advising Peer Advising Coaches  Available during peak advising/ registration times during each semester.  Supports faculty/staff by helping students prepare for advising appointments  Provides student-focused guidance for scheduling questions, researching programs, & policy/procedure clarification, etc.

T UTORING C ENTER  Peer Tutors assist students to master course content and develop learning skills including problem-solving, analytical reading, writing researched arguments, oral presentation techniques, and content-specific study skills.  All Tutors are trained in the principles and practices of the International College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certification.
