Capstone 1 Panel Presentation Location Information
SPRING 2018 (JULY 7-10, 2018)
This document lists the panel presentation locations, dates, times, and group information for candidates registered in the 2018/19 Spring Capstone 1 module. It is important for all candidates to read this document in its entirety. Each group is required to bring the following:
- Any materials needed to present to the panel
- Name tags for each group member
- Laptop
- Any required cords/hookups (HDMI & VGA adaptors will be supplied)
- Photo ID for each group member
The times listed below are in local time. A projection screen will be set up in the presentation room and a projector will be available for use. Candidates should not expect to have an internet connection at their presentation site. The group will be required to sign in when they arrive to their presentation venue. Each group has been allotted a 90-minute time slot with the panel. The approximate itinerary for the 90 minutes will be:
- 10 minutes to set up
- 30 minutes to present
- 15 minutes for panel to ask questions of group
- 20 minutes for panel to deliberate – the group will be asked to leave the room
- 15 minutes for panel to provide verbal feedback to group
Groups are required to sign in at their location no earlier than 10 minutes prior to their presentation time and will be given their presentation room assignment. The time that you have been assigned to indicates the beginning of your presentation slot. Please note that CPAWSB will not be providing space for groups to set up or practice prior to presenting. Groups should consider designating one member as a timekeeper or set up a timer that is visible to all members of the group. Groups are free to bring in supplemental items for the panel, such as a copy of your slides or business cards. The panel will not provide pass/fail results to the group. Unsuccessful groups, however, will be notified by email on July 11, and will be required to re-present on Thursday, July 12. All re-presentations are coordinated via video (GoToMeeting) and information regarding the video option will be provided to the unsuccessful groups on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
