  1. Brdr Christensen ApS Creating Quality Valves Worldvide since 1958

  2. Brdr. Christensen is a privately owned PLC.  Founded in 1942 - by Frede and Charles Christensen.  Production of Plug valves since 1958  Gate valves - Seguro since 1972  Tapered plug valves since 1975 HQ (Headquarter) in Denmark - 95 employees

  3. Turnover development in index figures Export share 90% Sales branch in Dubai

  4. 100% in house production will create integrity solutions between our customers needs and the product concepts we deliver: Pattern workshop, Foundry, Surface treatment, Hardening shop, Nickel shop, Assembly shop, Testing & Painting

  5. A Unique Plug Valve Program ASME Pressure Class 150 - 2500 Designed exactly for your needs API 6A 3000 PSI - 10.000 PSI Parallel single plug valves Low pressure valves type 1 Tapered single plug valves Low pressure valves type 9 High pressure balanced valves type 5 Double block and bleed valves High pressure twin plug valves type 55 Type 5 Tapered Single plugvalve

  6. A Unique Plug Valve Program ASME Pressure Class 150 - 2500 Taper Single Plug Valve type 5 range Class 150 Short Flanges Regular Full bore Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Regular Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Venturi Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Class 300 Short Flanges - Welding ends Regular Full bore Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Regular Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Venturi Flanges - welding ends - Hubs Class 600 Regular Full bore Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Regular Flanges - welding ends - Hubs Type 5 Tapered Single plugvalve Ventur i flanges - welding ends - Hubs

  7. A Unique Plug Valve Program ANSI Pressure Class 150 - 2500 Taper Single Plug Valve type 5 range Class 900 Regular Full bore Screwed – Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Regular Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Venturi Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Class 1500 Regular Full bore Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Regular Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Venturi Flanges - welding ends - Hubs Class 2500 Regular Full bore Screwed - Flanges - Welding ends - Hubs Regular Flanges - welding ends - Hubs Type 5 Tapered Single plugvalve Ventur i Flanges - welding ends - Hubs Other types of end connections on request.

  8. Double Block and Bleed valves The most compact design Taper Plug Valves designed for ANSI pressure Class 150 to Class 2500. Re: Hubs RTJ face-to-face measurement, match with face-to- face measurement for a single valves. Re Flanged RF / RTJ face – to-face measurement match with face to face measurement for a single valve. Easy replacement.

  9. A Unique Plug Valve Program ANSI Pressure Class 150 - 2500 Double Block and Bleed Valve type 55 programme Straight way regular pattern - Hub’s - welding ends Class 100 Class 300 Class 400 Class 600 Class 900 Class 1500 API 3.000 – 10.000 PSI on request Class 2500

  10. A Unique Plug Valve Program Double Block and Bleed Valve type 55 programme All DBB valves from Christensen are designed with the patented CCR System which avoit overpressure in the inner cavities between the 2 plugs. C H R I S T E N S E N Cavity Relief System All DBB valves are designed with a bore going from the body sealing surface against the diaphragm, to the port outside of each plug. Normally this bore is kept closed by the pressure of the bottom cover, if the pressure in the cavity increases more than normal, it will automatically open to the bore via the diaphram .

  11. Taper Plug Valves  Pressure balanced Design  Robust and compact construction  High quality  Self-protecting seating surfaces as abrasive  Impurities are wiped off when the plug turns  Moving parts: plug and stem (stem blowout proof)  Metal to Metal sealing  Fire-safe design  The plug is individually matched to the body  Low torque values  Higher port area

  12. A Unique Plug Valve Program Metal to metal sealing (perfect match between body and plug ) Seating area Up to 30 dgr on each side Fully protected by body in open position Never exposed 100% to media during open /close

  13. A Unique Plug Valve Program Unique Seal properties • 3 independent seals

  14. A series of international approvals Certified to DS/EN. ISO 9001 PED 97/23 - pressure Directive 2001 CE marking We can comply to ATEX 94/9/EC American Petroleum Institut 1989 API 6D - 0239 API Q1 Canadian Gas Association CGA - 3.11 Achilles Norsok

  15. Testing MPI - X-ray – DP - pressure testing- PMI

  16. Quality

  17. Mobil Oil - Baryl Alpha Twin plug class 1500 – plugs in duplex

  18. Gas plant - NAM Holland engineered by STORK Glt

  19. Gulfax Norway Single and twin plugs

  20. Reading Pumping Gate valves for sewage water

  21. Oil & Gas Applications  Manifolds - Flowlines and headers  Emergency shutdown  Separator drains  Kicker valves to scraper traps  Bypass valves to mainline ball valves – gas  Water injection valves  Gas injection valves  Isolation valves to control valves  Block valves on production pipes into the wells  Riser valves with roundport - for pigging

  22. Underground Gas Storage  Isolation valves for Inlet Separator  Isolation valves for Outlet Filer  ESD valves  Drain valves  Bypass valves to mainline ball valves  Isolation valves to control valves

  23. Refineries / Petrochem plants  Isolation Valves to Control Valves  Loading Gantry Valves  Hydrogen and other Gas Services  Catalyst Handling Facilities  Ethane, Methane, Ammonia Service  Molten Sulphur  Molten Wax, Asphalt, Bitumen etc.  Hot oil systems

  24. Gas pipelines  Bypass Valves  Blowdown Valves  Kicker Valves  Vents and Drains  Distribution Valves

  25. District Heading  Distribution Valves  Key places  ” Account ” valves  Drains / Vents  Isolation valves to filters etc.

  26. Your desicion High investment low operation costs or Low investment* high operation costs • Often low valve price = lower CV value. ( All BCH valves have large cm2 port areas ) • Often low valve price = Higher torque`s ( BA ) on the valves • Often low price = shorter technical life cycle
