Path Codes

› No “new” path codes will be created. All current path codes will remain as is. › Streets affected by new boundaries will be updated and set with the new path code they pertain to effective 01/03/17. › New students who register from 1/3/17 through the remaining of the school year must register at the new home campus their street pertains to according to boundary changes. › PK, 5th and 8th graders will be mass assigned their new path code to reflect the boundary changes. › Currently enrolled K-4th grade, 6th-7th grade, and 9th -11th grade students will keep their current path code and be grandfathered into their current campus. › Grandfathered students affected by the changes must update the School of Residence Override Reason Code 1617-NBGF (New boundary Grandfathered)

Data Collection

› Two out calls will be made to students who are affected by the new boundary changes. › 1st out call- Identified students affected by changes (K-4th, 6th, 7th, and 9th -11th) will receive a parent call to notify parents that their student has the option to be grandfathered in to their current campus or accept and change to the new home campus they belong to. If they choose to go to their new home campus, they will be asked to identify their need for transportation when informing their current campus. › 2nd out call- Any PK,5th, and 8th grade students affected by the boundary changes, will be notified to make a choice of accepting transportation or opting out of transportation. They will be informed of the sibling criteria and timeline for submitting their in-district transfer

› 1718 Online Registration- A disclaimer will be displayed to notify parents
