Where is Barton Camp? Winscombe, Avon 45 minutes drive from BHJS
On the day! • Children to come straight in to hall with bags and wait to be registered. • Leave School after registration (9:00am) • Return by 3:20pm on Thursday (traffic permitting)
Activities (booked through mendipursuits.co.uk) Disc Frisbee Bush craft Archery One and half activities per day: For example: Wednesday: 1:30-3:00pm Frisbee, 3:10-4:00 pm Archery Part 1 Thursday: 10-10:40 Archery part 2, 11-12:30 Bush craft
Evening Activities
FOOD • Children need to bring a packed lunch with them on Wednesday 23rd • Cooked evening meal between 5 & 6pm • Hot drink and biscuits before bed • Cooked breakfast and juice at 8am • Packed lunch prepared by the centre on Thursday: 2 Rolls, crisps, biscuits, fruit and water. • Any dietary requirements are taken into account before we arrive • Water and squash are available for children as required throughout the day and the activities. • All food supplied by Grove Farm Caterers
Barton Camp Sleeping Arrangements: • One large girls and one large boys dorm • 4 smaller rooms
Kit list All kit to be in one small bag containing: • one sleeping bag • one pillow • one waterproof anorak or kagool • two warm sweatshirts/jumpers • two pairs of tracksuit No Mobile Phones! bottoms/trousers • extra pair of shoes/trainers No Hair straighteners! • two tee shirts No Electronic Games! • one large towel • underwear/socks • nightwear • toilet bag and toiletries • one camera if required - disposable • one bin liner for any wet clothes • one small plastic water bottle • wellies
