Connectivity must be reestablished to submit the assessment. 2 Accessibility and Accommodations Ongoing Accommodations must be set in the Nextera administration site before a student begins testing. 3 Pausing for Breaks Ongoing Direct students to click on the pause/sign-out button in the upper right corner of the screen. Question Answer If a student proceeds to Prompt 2 or completes Prompt 2 before Prompt 1 time is up, what procedures need to be followed? Test administrators must be vigilant of students clicking to the second prompt before the end of the allotted 75 minutes. Please advise students to wait until instructed to hit the arrow button to move to the next question/prompt. If a student begins on the second prompt before the allowed time period, please follow guidance on page 37 in the TAM regarding students moving to the second prompt. Because it has communicated daily through the ADU, students who do not follow these directions in the TAM must be invalidated. What can be done if accommodations were not set before the student begins testing and the test needs to be reset? If the student has made significant progress through the assessment, an IEP committee MUST meet to determine

  • A. The team may choose to leave the scores as is. Currently, all tests

have been submitted and will be scored.

  • B. The team may choose to invalidate the scores and not retest the

student.

  • C. The team may choose to reset the test, and test the student with the

appropriate accommodations. Documentation must be provided that all individuals were properly trained.
