Why a Public Hearing?

Required by Texas Education Code Chapter 39, Section 39.056. This requirement includes that each district’s board of trustees publish an annual report that includes the TAPR. A public hearing must be held within 90 days of release (released November 30, 2016) and notification to the public must be given.
