BOARD 2017/18 currently ten members (photo: • Barcelona in June 2017, Giuseppina La Delfa is missing) 13 Board meetings within the last • year, only one face-to-face encounter and several occasions to see some Board members (…) Jordi Anton (FLG, Spain), Caroline • Ausserer (TransInterQueer e.V., Germany), and Juha-Pekka Hippi (Sateenkaariperheet, Finland) announced to step down

  10. BOARD We have four remaining Board members for the next term … Eleni Maravelia (FLG, Spain) • Jesús Santos (Galehi, Spain) • Giovanni Fantoni (Famiglie • Arcobaleno, Italy) Esteban Jiménez (Famiglie • Arcobaleno, Italy) They were elected at our last AGM in Naples. Their mandate ends in 2019.

MEMBERS NELFA has currently 24 full members, • we will be 25 when Deystvie, Bulgaria will join us officially in these days NELFA has 5 supporting members • and 1 remaining individual member (Luís Amorim) Our organisations cover 18 • European countries (19 with Deystvie, Bulgaria) NEW in 2017: TGEU • NEW in 2018: TRiP (Poland), Dugine • obiteji (Croatia), Open Mind Spectrum (Albania), Deystvie (Bulgaria) and already announced are Tolerado (Poland)

  14. FINANCES The NELFA Budget is very tight, we even • spent too much in the past (not in terms of needs: Board members pay a large part of the costs on their own! [i.e. travel expenses, little bills etc.) We need to find ways out of the • financial „ limbo “ if we want to establish NELFA as an organisation on EU level – new funding possibilities? POSITIVE: We were able to safe 920 € • out of the Erasmus+ grant NELFA members paid for COFACE fee • (500 € per year) SPECIAL THANKS GO TO: apgl (100 € ), Son Nuestros Hijos (100 € ), Famiglie Arcobaleno (100 € ), Sateenkaariperheet (100 € ) AND LSVD (100 € ). A very positive sign from Germany: LSVD pays the 500 € for 2018!!!!

ADMINISTRATION New registration of the Executive • Board in the „Moniteur Belge “ CRELAN bank – we still are client • as other options won‘t be much more comfortable for us We closed down our • „ Basecamp “, our common working platform is now „ Bitrix “ Our archive is now on „ pcloud “, • we left „Dropbox“ Hostpoint is our website and • NELFA Email provider Our Erasmus+ contact data are • finally changed [ECAS system]

COMMUNICATION MAILING LIST – exchange exists (at • least 28 cases of communiction (but it could be more and new Email required) FACEBOOK: We have 2,029 „ friends “ • (1,837 last year), the most successful pic was Olympic diver Tom Daley with husband and a pic of a baby scan (more than 4,600 people reached), more than 360 posts within a year TWITTER: 457 Follower, 161 Follows, • within a year around 40 posts and over 200 retweets (low level …) NEWSLETTER: 186 subscribers at the • moment, every three months, opening rate: 30-40 %, click rate is low (4-6 percent only)

COMMUNICATION WEBSITE RELAUNCH is planned since • 2016, last works were done in summer 2017 by graphic designer Francesca Silvestri, but she resigned for professional reasons – unfortunately Content must be reviewed and we • need an expert how to make it to our new official website … PRESS RELEASES: 14 within one year • (we had 32 in 2016/17) they were sent out to LGBTIQ* • media and our members and posted on twitter/Facebook

  20. ADVOCACY AND LOBBYING Board members took part in at least 31 events (conferences, workshops, trainings or simple meetings with politicians, stakeholders etc.!!!

CAPACITY BUILDING – Erasmus+ „ Chances and challenges for rainbow families “  * 22 mobilities (16 training courses on consulting and coaching skills, conflict management etc.  with „In Dialogue “ (The Netherlands) as course provider and ILGA-Portugal for the job- shadowing  Participants from Eastern Europe and the Balkans (after the East initiative:  Main aim: to help NELFA at 2018/19? strengthening its educational work Application is out – decision in May/June

COOPERATION WITH EXTERNAL PARTNERNS COFACE: meeting in Juni, Work- • Life-Balance-campaign in October, ILGA‘s Conference Warsaw, Lisbon Conference EUROPEAN UNION: Contacts to • the EP‘s Intergroup on LGBTI rights (Terry Reintke, co-chair) COUNCIL OF EUROE: • Copenhagen conference in March, possible following meeings with video testimonies ILGA-EUROPE: Capacity building • workshop (Framing) in Brussels, lunch meetings, help in reaching out to new Eastern Europe organisations (or Balkans), strategic exchange today …

UPDATE after the AGM • DEYSTVIE BULGARIA IS A NEW FULL NELFA MEMBER • ALL CANDIDATES FOR THE NEW BOARD WERE APPROVED • JUAN BASTÓN (SON NUESTROS HIJOS, SPAIN) APPLIED FOR THE BOARD AT THE AGM AND WAS ALSO ELECTED • ALL PROVIDED DOCUMENTS WERE APPROVED BY THE AGM 2018 (INCLUDING THE ANNUAL REPORT, FINANCIAL REPORT, BUDGET PROPOSAL AND ACTION PLAN
