  10. 2017-2018 DIP Highlights Student Successes • Increased number of K-2 students reading on grade level to 85% • Increased SPED enrollment in career pathways by more than 10% • Decreased discipline referrals and received positive feedback on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) • Involved more than 80% of secondary students in a curricular activity

  11. 2017-2018 DIP Highlights Operational Successes • Increased knowledge, quality, and recognition of Guest Educators • Hosted successful NISD Career fair • Managed timely and successful building projects – new schools and renovations/additions • Generated $250,000 through 3-5 year advertising contracts
