Array Microphone Technology Andrea’s patented DSDA™ (Digital Super Directional Array) adaptive beam forming algorithm can work with 2 or up to 8 microphones which can be in a linear/broadside format or circular geometry. The beam enables more directional audio pickup toward the voice source while reducing background sounds outside of the beam.
Direction Finding & Tracking Array Andrea's Patented Direction Finding and Tracking Array (DFTA™) technology utilizes an array of microphones and an adjustable algorithm that detects the presence of a user's voice, determines the direction of the voice and follows and tracks it when it moves. In a videoconferencing setting, this unique technology can provide direction to a videoconferencing camera and allow the system to steer and concentrate on the speaker, thus providing a "video ‐ follow ‐ audio" capability thus providing a video follow audio capability.
