  1. All louvres are not the same!! Let us show you why ……

  2. Perception of Louvres They Rust Leak Water & Air Don’t Close Handles Break Correctly

  3. Introducing the Palmair™ Louvre by

  4. The Palmair™ Louvre: • Uses Non-Corrosive Material • Durable Plastics – UV Stabilized & Flexiblity • Handle Operation Tested to 50,000 Open / Close Cycles • High Performance – Tested to: – Air Leakage @ 2.32 litres – Water Pass @ 200Pa – Wind Penetration @ 3000Pa (254 Kph)

  5. Features & Benefits Feature: Operating Mechanisms Benefits: Smoother operation Feature: Feature: All parts are Non-Corrosive Polypropylene Clip Over centre locking mechanism Head and Sill Weather- Benefits: strip Non-Corrosive Benefits: UV Stabilized Improves performance Unique Weather Fin against air, wind and Variety of Colours water penetration. Feature: Acetyl Handle Benefits: Non-Corrosive Durable & Flexible Easy to Open Tested 50,000 Cycles Variety of Colours

  6. Other Features & Benefits • 7 Year Warranty (3 years on moving parts) – Assures a quality product, where the manufacturer stands behind the product they sell. • Extensive Range of Products – Adjustable louvres in 102mm & 152mm. – Fixed louvres in 152mm. – Timber & Aluminium blades.

  7. Performance – Air Louvres provide maximum airflow in the open position. In the closed position - Palmair Louvres provide a greatly reduced air infiltration compared to other metal louvre systems without seals and tight glass contact. This is particularly important for air conditioned environments.

  8. Performance – Water Design Wind Pressure: 3000Pa (equates to the force created by a wind velocity of 254KPH). Water Penetration resistance: In a storm with pressure of 1000Pa being put onto the outside of the building by the wind it is expected that the pressure inside the building will be 150Pa less than the outside pressure – this pressure differential (or partial vacuum) tends to force water (rain) from the outside to the inside of the building. The Palmair Window System is designed to withstand water ingress resulting from a pressure differential of 220Pa. This is 1.5 times the expected pressure differential caused by a storm which generates a wind pressure of 1000Pa on the outside of the building. 40mm

  9. Performance – Wind The Palmair Louvre System is designed to withstand cyclonic conditions. When the louvre window is closed, and the wind conditions increase, severe loads are applied to the window. If Louvres are installed that are not designed for high wind loadings, then system failure will occur.

  10. Window System Advantages Features & Benefits : §Clean “hidden” fastening system §No potential damage to the louvre on assembly §Very quick and easy to assemble the louvre to the frame §No points of potential corrosion §The snap in feature means that the louvre is always assembled in the correct position in the frame §All components, including fasteners are manufactured from corrosion resistant material §Saves labour costs at installation §Further improves air, water and wind performance
