- Objectives of Canada’s participation:
- Assisting firms in maximizing opportunities in major aerospace platforms and defence
procurement programs
- Attracting and retaining foreign direct investment
- Communicating the Government’s industrial policy goals.
- To achieve these objectives, Industry Canada leads a series of initiatives, including the
- rganisation of:
- Senior-level programs
- the Canadian Pavilion (where most Canadian companies exhibit)
- the Showcase Canada portion of the Pavilion (which is used to promote Canada as a
global aerospace leader and to highlight Canada’s capabilities)
