Housing Strategy Plan
To achieve the intent of the Housing Element, the City will update the Housing Strategy Plan to outline potential strategies to implement various goals and policies and their relative priority for consideration.

Planning Commission’s Role
The Planning Commission will play a major role in developing the Housing Strategy Plan, including leading the public outreach and engagement portion of the update effort. The Planning Commission is expected to have a sense of ownership over the updated Housing Strategy Plan.

The Planning Commission is tasked with making difficult decisions about accommodating growth in Sammamish. The Housing Strategy Plan will set the framework for implementing our Housing policies in our City. The Commission should consider what is important and how important it is.
