2011-2012 Summary • Continued to grow membership (c. 20% increase) and attendance in section meetings • Maintained financial position to perpetuate 3 yearly section scholarships • SPE YP Chapter restructured under SPE banner – SPE YP Fundraiser $2000 to Care Flight – $1000 Contributor to UQ/QUT field trip – Formalised structure with YP and UQ/QUT Chapters – YP to provide the link to UQ/H-W Petroleum Engineering Post- Graduate program • Formalised structure to host the 2013 SPE Unconventional Resources Conference • Will be submitting SPE Financials (after membership acceptance) and Annual Report by End of May
