companies, started with the aim to provide integrated wireless solutions based on the use

  • f

the solar energy power, for aeronautical applications, such as airport and heliport visual aids, obstruction lights and video surveillance systems. Advanced Solar Solution has been established in the beginning of 2017, following a licensing contract between Biofly, Gesetec and Gloss, where Biofly transferred to Gesetec and Gloss the industrial rights of the products referring to the SCB (Smart Controlled Biofly) line;

BIOFLY operating on Rome since 2001, was started as result

  • f an development project to support the general aviation
  • pilots. The aim was to increase the safety in all phase of

flight. Biofly developed, in conjunction with Italian and foreign R&D institutes, an innovative multiuse LED lights called SCB (Smart Controlled Biofly), powered with solar cells and with the capability to be remotely monitored and controlled.

  • SILAS

(Solar Illumination Aeronautical System) satisfies the requirement to provide small airports or heliports with a low cost system to improve the safety of the flight in bad weather conditions or to extend the operational hours also during night time.

  • SILAS is an integrated system very easy to install, since does not

require any site preparation of dedicated infrastructures, and can be configured to satisfy the various operational requirements of airports and heliports

  • The SILAS system is based on the use of the SCB (Smart Controlled

Biofly) lights, which is self-powered since based
