DOES DOES NOT/IS NOT
Serve as Troop Volunteer resource/tool with all the support necessary to successfully run and facilitate Troop meetings with GSLE program at Daisy, Brownie, and Junior program levels. Account for all local (Council) Troop support resources, particularly those in the areas of finance, outdoors, or product sale protocol. VTK is NOT a TRAINING. Include a select number of Badges, Journey Meetings, Take Action meetings, and Closing Ceremonies to allow the troop full flexibility in customizing their Year Plan. Intended to eliminate GIRL LED
- processes. In fact, “how to keep it girl-
led tips” are included throughout meeting plan copy.
Clarity is Key
DOES
DOES NOT/IS NOT
Replace the need for Journey Adult Guides. Does not replace the need for girls to have their OWN girl Journey books and Girl Guides to Girl Scouting binder. Has four features that work really well and Data shows Daisy and Brownie leaders really like it. Have an accurate Finances tab. As Council we are waiting for GSUSA to roll
- ut update.
Allow Troop Leaders to switch between GS Levels. Daisies can view Brownies, Brownies can view Juniors. Teen Level programming is not included
- yet. Waiting for GSUSA update.
The Volunteer Toolkit is an adaptive, or mobile ready website, in essence. It is not an app, although it works well
- n phones.
Clarity is Key

How can I support new leaders without access to VTK?
- Join “test” troop:
- Educators need to select Daisy, Brownie or Junior
- Service Unit Team troop can move levels
- Advantage: able to “navigate” and experience how
the VTK works
- Disadvantage: notifications sent to all when new
members join troop
