Federal transportation requires all states to develop an Asset Management Plan . The Plan will include:

Description and condition of pavements and bridges on the

National Highway System

Asset Management objectives and measures
Summary of gaps between targeted and actual performance
Life-cycle cost and risk management analysis
Financial plan that addresses performance gaps
Investment strategies and anticipated performance

Interim Transportation Asset Management Plan is due on April 30th 2018, with the final plan slated for FHWA review on or before June 30th 2019.
