Federal transportation requires all states to develop an Asset Management Plan . The Plan will include:

  • Description and condition of pavements and bridges on the

National Highway System

  • Asset Management objectives and measures
  • Summary of gaps between targeted and actual performance
  • Life-cycle cost and risk management analysis
  • Financial plan that addresses performance gaps
  • Investment strategies and anticipated performance

Interim Transportation Asset Management Plan is due on April 30th 2018, with the final plan slated for FHWA review on or before June 30th 2019.
