Mississippi River Paddle Share A new National Park Service recreation and transportation opportunity for people to rent kayaks for a 6.3 mile river paddling experience from Hidden Falls to Harriet Island Regional Park. Paddle Share stations are partnered with Nice Ride locations to create alternative transportation circuits. Summer Blast @ GRP Free afternoon program for kids from across the city to actively explore the

Centers will be invited to participate in an overnight August 5th and September
- 23rd. Co-led by Wilderness Inquiry at
Fort Snelling State Park.

PEOPLE AND STORY
Photographers in Residence Local Photographers Monica Bryand, Erin D. Carter, and Chris Juhn have been selected to ofger a fresh, compelling approach to photographing the experience of the Mississippi River in Saint Paul. The photographers’ growing image library will be featured in a digital gallery and will culminate in a published project at the end of the residency in December 2017. Rambling River A micro documentary series featuring the unique places, people, and experiences at the river. East Side River District Symposium Reveal, heal, connect, and protect. A symposium that explores the complex history, culture, ecology and economics
