  5. About the Campaign • Workplace campaign for State of WI, Univ. of Wisconsin and UW-Health employees in Dane County • Since 1973, the campaign has raised over $75 million. • Over 500 charities participate under 11 umbrella organizations

About the Campaign: Timeline • February • Charities submit participation applications • March • Campaign Eligibility Committee reviews and recommends participation applications • April • Campaign dates and goals are set • August • Training Committee conducts Chair Orientation • September & October • Training Committee conducts Training for Coordinators and Chairs • Early October Materials are delivered to the Chairs • Campaign Dates October 9 th - November 30 th • Donations and special event funds accepted through April 2018

  8. 2016 Campaign Results • Dollars Raised = $2,556,091.84 • Number of Donors = 7,060 • Average Gift = $362.05 • Special Events Receipts = $130,812

  15. Special Event Form • Special Event Form - https://giving.wi.gov/volunteers-chairs/request-an- event/ • There are two event formats: 1. Tabling event – Umbrella Reps will be available for employees to learn more and ask questions about the charities each umbrella represents. There will also be someone available to answer general questions about the Partners in Giving Campaign. 2. Speaker – A representative from one of the 500 charities will share with your colleagues the work their organization does.
