State Teams Shoot Rules & Conditions The state teams will assemble at 8.00 am for the team event followed by team photos and the opening ceremony @ 10.30AM. Open team consists of 5 members while Ladies, Juniors and Veterans teams consist of 3 members each. The draw for layouts will take place at the National Office 1 month prior to the event and advertised in the CTSN and provided to State secretaries. All teams shoot 25 targets and each State shoot all teams on their drawn

  • layout. Teams remain at their drawn layout to support their other state teams.

The match will be shot squad system, one target per lane before changing. Broken targets to count. Point score will be used to separate State Teams for final placings. In the event of an absolute tie for first place at the completion of each State Teams Match, each member shall shoot an additional five (5) targets until a winner is declared. Shooters who qualify to represent more than one team, eg open and juniors, will compete in only one team.

When shot in Australia or New Zealand, the top five (5) scores over the Australian-New Zealand Points, Single Barrel, Double Barrel and Mackintosh events will comprise the Australian Team to contest the International Glenn Cup Competition. (Rule 3.11). Both teams shoot at 50 targets per shooter, double barrel from 15m, to be recorded point score (used only in the case of a tied score). 3.19 HIGH GUN – TRAP (a) High Gun shoot-offs at National Championships shall comprise of 5 target handicap, 5 target double barrel (15m), 5 target single barrel (15m), 5 target points score (15m), 5 target double barrel (18m), 5 target single barrel (18m), 5 target points score (18m), 5 pair double rise (15m) continuing until such time as the winner is determined. (b) The High Gun for a shoot shall be over the advertised program comprising a minimum of two events, or such as the club, at its discretion has advertised. 3.01 MACKINTOSH INTERNATIONAL TRAP TEAMS MATCH International Trap Teams match shall be shot under the conditions that apply at the time. Qualifications shall be as follows: (a) Each team member shall be an official Australian citizen. In the event of a member being unable to take his place in the team, his place will be filled by another shooter, agreed upon by the Organising Committee. (b) The necessary highest scores over the National Double Barrel; National Single Barrel; and the Australian and New Zealand Trap Championship; shall become Australia’s International Team. In the event of a tie, to be shot off in the order of qualification, squad system, at full rounds of 5 targets Double Barrel, 5 targets Single Barrel, 5 targets point scoring, for a possible score of 25, from 15 metres. (c) Highest Scorer in the Australian team will hold the special International High Gun Cup (donated by the late J M Bauman, Esq

  • f Brisbane) for 12 months (or until the next International match)

and will be awarded a special trophy and the International High Gun Sash. In the event of a tie for High Gun, to be shot off squad system points scoring, first miss out. (d) Every member of the Australian Team will receive the special “International Badge”. (e) Women, Junior and Veteran teams of five (5) shooters will be selected under the above conditions. (f) Only ACTA official Referees to officiate, Scorer and check Scorer to be provided, score sheets to be signed by Scorers and Referees. The team members to be squadded in the order in which they qualify.

The Mackintosh Teams Event is a long established traditional international match, shooters are reminded of the part that tradition and the rules of fair play occupy in this event. 2. Teams have been selected over individual results achieved over the three Mackintosh team qualifying events: 3. The Match shall be shot: Points Score First Barrel 3 Points Second barrel 2 Points Lost target 0 Points 4. The Open Match to be shot over four traps, one visit each squad to each trap, 5 targets per lane before changing. 5. Each squad will be provided with: Referee Check Referee Two Scorers Who will remain with their squad for the 100 Targets. 6. Each squad has been determined by the positions in which the shooter has qualified. 7. Targets fired upon are to be included in the results. 8. Each shooter shall have the right to refuse to fire if it is illegal in height or release.

Mackintosh Teams Competition Conditions

Entry Fee: Each competing country shall pay upon request an entry fee to an amount as determined by the organising association, the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association, England. Teams: Teams will comprise of: (a) Open Team - 25 member (2 emergencies to be named) (b) Ladies Team - 5 member (1 emergency to be named) (c) Junior Team - 5 member (1 emergency to be named) (d) Veteran Team - 5 member (1 emergency to be named) Each competing country shall determine the composition of their respective teams by the process of elimination. Note: A shooter cannot represent two teams, he/she must declare before the event which team they are competing for. eg either Open or Junior, not both. Qualification: Each team member to be a citizen of the country for which they are competing for at least the twelve months prior to competition. Results: To be posted to: The Executive Officer ACTA PO Box 466 Wagga Wagga NSW 2650 Final Results: Available within 30 days of the completion of the competition, and to be made available to all competing countries within 30 days of the results being publicly declared. Recognition: A winners badge to be made available to all members of the winning teams. A runners up badge to be made available to all members of the teams finishing in second place in the respective sections. Match Conditions: 100 target event scored points score. First barrel 3 points, second barrel 2 points, lost target 0. 28gr - 1oz loads. Squads: To be arranged in such order as determined by the management of each competing country. Sighter: Each shooter to have one sighter target per lane before commencement of events (ACTA conditions) Refusal: Each shooter to have the right to refuse to fire at any target if it is illegal in height or release. A target once fired upon by any competitor is to be included in the results, with each competitor abiding by the result. Trap Settings: (a) Height to be set in the usual manner as does apply for each competing

  • country. Australia 3 metres - 10 metres from the trap.

(b) Distance targets shall be thrown a minimum of 46 metres (+/- 2 metres). (c) Angles to be a minimum of 22.5 degrees each side of centre, using a line down lanes numbered 1 and 5 (note 22.5 degrees is one metre outside the line at 50 metres or the appropriate/corresponding hole on Winchester White Flyer Traps, being the preferred trap). (d) High Gun shoot offs to be held over same trap settings as applies for competition (ACTA conditions). General: Each country to ensure that the rules of common sense and fair play are adhered to at all times. No unfair advantage is to be taken owing to the competition being a teams match. Shooting to be conducted in the normal manner at all times. Tradition: As the Mackintosh International Trap Team Match is a long established event, all countries to be mindful of the part that fair play and tradition occupy in this international postal teams match, conditions of which have been revised and agreement reached by all competing countries.

3.11 AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND TRAP TEAMS MATCH (Glenn Cup) (a) Teams to consist of five shooters. Both teams shoot at 50 targets per shooter, Double Barrel from 15 metres; to be recorded points score (used only in the case of a tied score). Should scores still be tied a further 5 targets per shooter per team scored points score will be shot, continuing until a winner is established. Each competitor to shoot from five lanes, squad system. Cartridges shall be the prescribed maximum 28-gram shot load as for all Championship series. (b) Team Selection – When shot in Australia or New Zealand, the top five (5) scores over the Australian-New Zealand Points, Single Barrel, Double Barrel and Mackintosh events will comprise the Australian Team to contest the International Glenn Cup Competition. (c) The match is to be hosted alternatively by arrangement, in Australia during the odd numbered years.
