  4. PROJECT OVERVIEW • Construction has continued from last fall with noise wall installation. • There is still a little bit of work do be done on Phase 1D, specifically the sidewalks, permanent striping, fences and seeding work. Replace the median on 156 th St south in front of Fantasy’s. • Will close down Harrison Street again to through traffic. Reroute at 156 th Street and 144 th Street similar to last year. • Will still maintain access to the area schools and local traffic only. • Phases 2 will begin this April (weather dependent) and Phase 3 is planned to start in mid July with an anticipated completion by end of September. 4

  5. CONSTRUCTION – Phase 2 • Originally Phase 2 was broken into two smaller subphases, but in discussions with the Contractor we have adjusted the boundary and combined the subphases. • This will allow more area for the contractor work and is anticipated to help reduce the duration of construction. Hard closures on Harrison Street at 154 th and 150 th • 5

  6. CONSTRUCTION – Phase 2 • This will require some alternative routing to the Neihardt Elementary School. Talk through routing plans. Birchfield will need to go to 154 th or 150 th to access the school. The median • crossing at 154 th will remain open during the phase 2 work. • Ped crossing area (not signal) at 150 th to remain. • Temp access drive to 152 nd south leg. • The side roads and associated driveways will be completed in 4 week periods, so as to minimize disruptions. Will be notified prior to closures. 6

  7. CONSTRUCTION – Phase 3 Phase 3 has also been adjusted to now include the 150 th Street intersection, • and will focus on storm sewer, pavement, and the 148 th St. signal. Potential to reopen 150 th St prior to school’s fall semester, and if weather • allows, save a full month off original construction schedule. The hard closures will now be moved to 151 st and 145 th . • The new signal at 152 nd Street will be operational and pedestrian crossing will • be moved to this location for school kids. Sidewalks will be in place to signal. 7

  8. CONSTRUCTION – Phase 3 • Talk through routing plans. • Willow Creek will have to travel through Birchfield to get to schools. Stony Brook wanting to go east will need to use Drexel and 144 th intersection. • 8
