Allotments don’t have an address

• No definitive addressing or naming system

for allotments, or many other greenspaces. Managed my many different bodies.

• But these resources are part of national and

local targets.

• In order to monitor these we need baselines

• Addresses… but for

• Some grid references
• Quality issues i.e.

duplicates, sites that no longer exist, etc

• Impossible task to

maintain.

• Geometry… polygons!
• Six monthly release,
• Data model that allows

updates.

Comparison

• 197 sites match up.
• OS can improve data quality by checking for missing

sites and adding distinctive names.

• SAGS can start using the OS product.
• CSGN gets baselines for monitoring targets!
