We have been in our current facility since 1981 and have continually expanded and renovated it since. MRMC employs over 300 medical professionals and has an active medical staff of over 40 physicians offering specialty and sub-specialty care. MRMC has been recognized by the Joint Commission as a Top Performer in Key Quality Measures and is a 4-star CMS rated hospital. We are located 35 minutes north of Columbia, 2.5 hours from Kansas City and St. Louis. Moberly is perfectly situated in the middle of the state with easy access to metropolitan areas.   5. The Moberly Area  Moberly is a town of 14,000 people that serves as a central point for surrounding, smaller communities to eat, shop, work and play. Moberly is a railroad town and celebrated its 150 th Anniversary in 2016. It’s conveniently located on Highway 63 and just north of I-70, making it a quick trip to larger cities like Columbia, Kansas City, St. Louis, Hannibal, Kirksville and Quincy.   8. Rothwell Park Rothwell Park is truly the jewel of Moberly Parks and Recreation. Rothwell Park has a multitude of amenities. At approximately 465 acres, it is one of the largest municipal parks in the state of Missouri.   12. Education Moberly is home to two colleges; Central Christian College of the Bible and Moberly Area Community College. The Moberly School District consists of seven schools. The Early Childhood Center serves preschoolers; North and South Park Elementary serve grades K-2; grades 3-5 attend Gratz Brown Elementary; grades 6-8 attend Moberly Middle School; and Moberly High School and Moberly Area Technical Center serve grades 9-12. East Park School serves as an alternative school. The Seventh-day Adventist church operates Maranatha Adventist School, a K-8 school.The St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School, 14 operated by the Catholic Church of the same name, serves grade K-8.

  13. Nearby Recreation With Columbia only 35 minutes south, MIZZOU athletics, large concerts, exceptional local and national dining options, shopping and more are a short drive down highway 63. Although, people choose to live in Moberly for the lower cost of living and excellent schools. 15
