Ø UNCLE JOHN is a Semi-Submersible, Dynamically Positioned (DP-2) Multi Service Vessel (MSV) with a 16- man saturated diving complex. Ø It is designed to work in harsh water environment, stable and has capabilities to perform in platform recoveries, floatel operations, subsea construction as well as well interventions. Ø The semi-submersible design allows the vessel to be less affected by the sea-state, allowing greater capability to perform tasks in up to 3m seas. Ø It has a 150 MT heaved compensated derrick, positioned Aft Amidship that operates through a moon- pool with a drill floor capable of skidding open to allow well interventions and P&A works in water up to 5,000 ft.
