To earn a WHS diploma

students must earn 24.0 credits, show academic competency on the state assessments, complete a Culminating Project, and complete their High School and Beyond Plan.

How you earn your 24.0 Credits…

At WHS we have:

  • 2 Academic Semesters
  • During each semester students take 6 classes + a CLC class. Each class is

worth .5 credits and CLC is worth .25 credits.

  • At the end of the year students can earn up to 6.5 credits. At the end of

four years students can earn up to 26.0 credits.

Math Progression: 3.0 Credits

Algebra 2 Transitional Math Applied Math Students are required to take 1.0 credit of Algebra 1 and 1.0 credit of Geometry. After they have completed their Algebra 1 and Geometry requirements then students will complete an additional 1.0 credit of math. Students can choose from the list to the right or an approved course through Running Start or Cascadia Tech. Financial Fitness
