Who are we?

 A radio controlled (R/C) aircraft club  We further the sport of R/C model aviation.  We provide and maintain flying sites.  FICO  TWIN BUTTES  Busiest flying times:  Mornings  Wednesday and Saturday.  Instructor available (patient, kind, skilled).  Currently 97 members.

Model Aeronautics (AMA).

Academy of Model Aeronautics - dues $58/yr Green Valley R/C Flyers - dues $40/yr Trainer plane (Apprentice 15e BNF), includes receiver, ESC, battery pack, charger $270 Transmitter (Spektrum DX6i) $130 Spare propeller (2) $12 Spare battery packs (3), Lipo-sack $100 Glues, hand tools, tool box, etc. $50 TOTAL $660

Unashamed Plug for Proposition 428

 FICO Flying Field  FICO will sell off the pecan groves to developers.  We can’t hold public events on private property.  We have no control over farm operations that

negatively affect our flying.

 We need a model airplane park on public

property for the long term.

 Pima County Bond Election – November 3.  Proposition 428 “Parks and Recreational

Facilities”.

 Three new Model Airplane Parks, $1M
