Development of the House Tour Worked with the Doyne family who lived in the house for 260 years Original Drawings from Daniel Robertson feature on the tour Sourced a local historian to document and research the history of the house Recruited and trained staff to ensure customer experience was one of the best in Ireland Susan Croft organised by Failte Ireland to assist in delivery of house tour Preparation of the house for the tour

The Oak Tree At Wells House & Gardens Initial launch of catering facility was outsourced Came back in house in October 2012 owing to customer feedback and Wells House reviewing it’s commitment to customer experience Head Chef recruited with a focus on quality. “Farm to fork” ethos being introduced 2015 saw the “Food to Go” Catering Service launch

Financial Contribution from Wells House and Gardens Reinvestment into the grounds with work on the second woodland walk and parterre garden resulted in a spend of €100,000 with work sourced from local contractors in 2014 alone. All supplies to service our 98,500 visitors have been sourced locally from wholesalers, web management and printing material. All food is sourced from local artisan suppliers Benefit to local accommodation providers – we have given Wexford and the south east another “Reason to Visit!” Collaboration with local hotels re vouchers and incentives.
