SFA • Success for All is a new scheme introduced this year, aimed at reading and writing. • Collaborative Learning focus. • Set across Year 5 based on previous assessment results.

LBQ • ‘Learning by questions’ • Maths focused learning through the use of questioning. • Year 5 only – access to 1 tablet per child for a year.

Clubs These are clubs available to the children at various times throughout the year: - Football - Netball - Athletics - Running Club - Tag Rugby - Choir - Drama - Dance You will be informed of when clubs are recruiting new members, and of any additional clubs that become available.

Communication • Injuries whilst at school – you will only be contacted if there is a head injury or other notable injury/ illness. • Blogs – this will be updated regularly. • Parents Evenings – 19 th & 20 th November; 10 th & 11 th March.

Children’s University • It is open to all children from Years 2-6 and is a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate children's achievements beyond the classroom. • There will be a presentation to parents where further details will be provided (please see Anchornews).
