▪ 2017/18 income - £250,185 ▪ 61% came from levied precept 22% hall lettings 17% other sources ▪ No Community Infrastructure Levy contributions received –collected

▪ 2017/18 expenditure - £265,290 ▪ Final accounts will be submitted for external audit by PKF Littlejohn in June.

▪ Role of planning committee – statutory consultee, we can comment and make observations/requests ▪ LPA obliged to have regard to ‘proper’ comments made ▪ Planning responses made by the parish council – 174 ▪ Continue to object to inappropriate development in the Green Belt ▪ Recognise we are up against provision of land supply, Permitted development rights and pre-application advice.

▪ Area 2 (Berkeley) works continues senior living / extra care homes and apartments nearing completion ▪ The opening of ‘The Greenway’ ▪ Sopwith Road will link to Forest Road in Summer 2018. ▪ Area 1 – land east of Newell Green is approved masterplan work continues on other sites ▪ Area 3 – no progress ▪ SANG (suitable alternative natural greenspace) proving popular ▪ Cabbage Hill SANG proving to be very popular ▪ Frost Folly/Wellers Lane SANG – expected to open July 2018

Neighbourhood Plan ▪ Now been completed and being presented to the parish council for approval ahead of submission ▪ Does include proposals for development ▪ Will go to BFC for further consultation, independent inspection and finally local referendum. Local Plan ▪ BFC draft plan consultation recently closed. Parish commented – can be found on our website.
