Neighbourhood Planning

▪ Warfield Neighbourhood Plan has now been submitted to Bracknell Forest Council and is currently in its Regulation 16 consultation stage ▪ Once this is complete the plan will face independent examination ahead of a local referendum later in the year ▪ Submission of our plan and others was delayed as we awaited guidance on a national legal position which affected a whole raft

Community SpeedWatch

▪ Community SpeedWatch is an initiative run by Thames Valley Police with local community volunteers. ▪ Speeding consistently comes up as a major issue for local residents. ▪ Scheme focus is on education rather than enforcement. ▪ Jointly supported by Binfield, Warfield and Winkfield parish councils. ▪ Purchased a video speed camera for the project. ▪ Northern Parishes Policing team are looking for volunteers to help operate the scheme.

 New community facility is a planning requirement of the development taking place in Warfield  The site is adjacent to Priory Field  Parish Council are working with BFC to jointly deliver a building for Warfield’s future  Initial design and costing work has taken place  Our plan is to deliver a new centre that provides access to sports, meeting spaces, rooms for hire, café, childcare provision, library and parish council facilities  Enhancements to Priory Field and be linked to the East-West Greenway  Next steps are business modelling and funding  Delivery by December 2024
