  11. Sunningdale Parish Team Sarah Kennedy joined the team in May 2017 - leaving to return to Australia March 2018 Claire Stewart joined the team in March 2018.

  12. Planning • 180 Planning applications reviewed and commented on • 5 Windsor Rural Development Control Panel representations on behalf of the Parish

  13. Christmas Event 2017

  14. Residents Survey 2017 • 50:50 split between those who feel involved in village life and those who do not • Over half the responders said they attended the Christmas event and would love more events such as open air cinema, music in the park • Majority were very happy with the facilities at Broomhall Lane Recreation Ground, including the library and chalet café • Around 50% agreed they would participate in village fund raising events for more and better facilities in the village • Many comments on improvements related to services delivered by RBWM: conditions of roads, footpaths, roadside verges and woodland and tree management • A high proportion of responders requested speed limits in the village to be reduced or extended

  16. Parish Surgeries • Started in November 2016 • Held in the Community Room at Broomhall Recreation Ground • Dates for the coming year • 20 th April – 10:30 to 12 noon • 25 th May – 10:30 to 12 noon • 22 nd June – 10:30 to 12 noon • 21 st September – 10:30 to 12 noon

  17. Chobham Road Bridge 7.5 tonne limit • Lorry Watch in 2017 • 86 registration details taken and the information was submitted to the DVLA to obtain keeper information Thank you to the VOLUNTEERS who sat in the rain and wind and Gary Evans for organising • Signage • Cameras • Ongoing policing

Tennis at Broomhall Lane Recreation Ground • SPC took over management in October 2017 • 28 new members • Increased court usage • Increased contribution into the reserve account for future refurbishment • Funding bids in place for mini-tennis, senior tennis coaching and support to return to tennis • Partners with the LTA for the Wimbledon Ticket Ballot • Memberships and information on the website

And so to the coming year • Continue to consult our residents – further surveys coming forward for your views • Continue to work in partnership with the Borough to improve the services delivered to Sunningdale • Street Cleaning • Highways • Library Services • Access to support functions within the Borough • Continue to respond to all planning applications made for the Parish

  20. 2018 Events • Battles over Beacons – celebrating 100 years from WWI • Sunday 11 th November event in Broomhall Lane Recreation Ground • Lighting the beacon • Sunningdale Christmas Lights Event • Friday 30 th November
