  • Split into 2 groups – one

group stays in their seats, the other rotates

  • Each pair will have 4

minutes for discussion

Making the most of networking

  • Have goal to meet 5 new people per session
  • Avoid sitting with colleagues from own

institution or solely with social friends

  • Don’t start conversation by talking about you

….or about the weather

  • Keep explanations short
  • Keep conversation focused & brief
  • Nice meeting you follow‐up
