Social Line Dance!
Backgrounds
We are three different groups of students here:
- Brown) Those who studied on pba in the fall
- Blue1) Those who have their CS from Lyngby
- Blue2) Those with other backgrounds
Please form two lines – a brown and a blue.
a) How many blue and brown are we? b) Do you know if any is missing?
Kasper groups you - each group:
- Brown tell their three top stories from PBA
- Blue1 tells their favorite stories from their internship
- Blue2 tells what they liked the most from there prev school
Distance to school
You almost all live in the greater Copenhagen area Sort your self in a long line according to how far from school you live. The closest should stand next to the north wall. How do you get to school? Split into lines according to your means of transport (Keep the distance to the north wall)
Ambition
Sometimes we work with different levels of ambition: Green: “I am happy to get a 4, but can live with a 2” Yellow: “I want to get 7, but hope for a 10” Red: “I will be disappointed if I do not get 10 or 12” Form three groups of color, within each color (green, yellow, red), split into brown and blue. Kasper further divide you into smaller groups of 4-5. Build a tower of ambition - highest tower from 20 pieces of A4.
Study groups
Many of the classes will have group work It is shared responsibility to get those who are new the groups to function.
- A. Please get on the floor – and form in those groups
who work together already
- B. If you are in a group of
- 1. Form up in at the “North wall”
- 2. Form up both of you at the “North wall”
- 3. Form up in 3 person groups in the middle of
the room
- 4. Form up along the self-sufficient south wall
- 5. Form up along the self-sufficient south wall
Study groups II
Kasper lays out ground rules for groups A) You form your groups your self B) Teachers will help facilitate for those who do not have a group (ie. put pressure on existing small groups of same ambition level).
Buddy for our new students
To make the introduction to new students easier, I would like each of them to have a buddy:
- Cantina,
- Printers,
- White building,
- IT systems
- Places to sit and study
- …
Who would like to give our new a tour of the building, and accept to receive huge amounts of questions with a smile over the next couple of months?
- Buddies can defer questions to me if they need to
