To maximise their achievement and wellbeing on this journey and to equip them to succeed and thrive long after they have left, we champion five core values (the 5Rs). We call this Reflection (we used to call it D.I.R.T.) • Teachers will use T A and Q to direct students to next steps. • Teachers will also use codes to indicate any literacy errors you need to fix. First day: Wednesday 4 th Sept • Students need to be on site before 8:45, in full school uniform Respectful, Reflective, Resilient, Resourceful, Responsible • Students should bring a bag, pencil case and lunch (if having packed lunch) • Students should go to the Hall for 8:45am registration • Students will be split into their form groups and then spend registration and lesson 1 (8:45am to10:10am) with their tutor. • Students will receive a new planner, a timetable and have a biometrics fingerprint scan (for buying food/drink in the canteen) • Break will be between 10:10am and 10:25am. Food and drink will be available to buy in the canteen. Parents can pre-load the account with money via Parent Pay or students can load their account with cash in the canteen.

  31. First day: Wednesday 4 th Sept • At 10:25 the bell will ring for lesson 2. Respectful, Reflective, Resilient, Resourceful, Responsible • Students will follow their new timetable (lots of people will help get students to the right place!) • The rest of the day will be in lessons, following their new timetable. • Lunchtime will be early, and extended (between 12:10 and 1:10) for Y7 for the first fortnight • At 3:10 students will be expected to make their way home (walk/bus/picked up)
