* Parkway nurse on hand 24/7 * Hospital nearby in Potosi, MO * Student behavior contract (signed by parent, too) * YMCA closely monitors weather & has buildings/facilities on location that serve as shelters in case of inclement weather * Teachers teach & supervise all activities/meals * Structured environment. Limited free time * Teacher tuck‐in. Cabin leader in cabins at night * Faculty bed‐checks & nightly security patrols * Buddy system * No students in lake * Helmets with horseback riding
