Spanish By the year 2020 an estimated that 41 million people will speak Spanish in the U.S. (pewreserch.org) Spanish students can expect to learn about different countries, put on skits, sing, sample foods, play games, and earn a HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT while having a blast! ¡Las clases de español son fenomenales! By the end of the year, your student will be able to write and speak in complete sentences describing… His/Her Family and what they do Him/Herself His/Her likes and dislikes Locations of places in a town or city

French Little known facts: *There are over 45,000 French speakers in Ohio *53% of Ohio exports go to countries where French is the official language *4 out 5 jobs in the U.S. are created as a result of foreign trade *Canada is the U.S. biggest trading partner It’s FUN! - games, songs, holidays, FOOD, Chatelaine restaurant, French club, travel to France!

  36. Reading Lab With Mr. Cly ~For students who need additional support in reading with HIGH interest books, literature circles, discussions, and presentations ~Students will take reading in place of Foreign Language options ~Students will be placed based on: - MAP data - Teacher recommendations

  37. Wellness for Life All students take Wellness for Life for a semester (health and wellness classes)

  38. Wellness For Life - The Wellness portion will consist of various sports, games, and fitness activities - Students must bring a change of athletic clothes to dress for Wellness.
