Surprisingly enough our club doesn't just run on its own, there are a lot of people behind the scenes that do copious amounts of work and many hours every week to ensure things run smoothly and happen entirely throughout the season. From organising trainings and games to fundraising, canteen duties and washing jerseys. I would like to put an extremely huge thank you to the following: Kon Flaherty, Rama Chand, Chenga, Ron Croker, Georgie Victor and Rachel Cooper. For all their hard work and dedication to this club inside and out! This season wouldn't of happened without you and it's greatly appreciated!! Reflection from 2015 Raiders Coach- Rama Chand

To all Raiders players and supporters, This year has been one of ups and downs. On field, I came into the season in round 3, its always a challenge walking into a new environment where certain culture and team habits have been formed. When I arrived the club, boys and people in the area made me feel very welcomed. We went on an 11 game winning streak and some spoke of us even being a team that could beat a long record held by a previous raider side of 16 wins in a row. I think a few of us got ahead of ourselves and we fell well short of that. A high light for me was the 51-5 annihilation

• f the reigning premiers Kuttabul mid season.

We lost quite a few players through out our season and some really key personnel, Florian, Brent, Kon, Ollie just a few key players that would not return for us. Despite the injuries we definitely had a side worthy of winning the championship, and it was a case of a little too late for us, we were playing catch up football towards the wrong end of the season....Culminating in a loss to Mackay Cities at home to not make the GF. Did we deserve to be there? Were we better than the opposition? Off the field the club had good success with hosting the NQ Rugby Championships, a host of Raiders players played in front of their home crowd, well supported by the awesome volunteer base we have to run a tournament to that degree with only a few weeks notice. Our Semi final loss to cities might have been a loss on the field but off it was certainly different. A great picture to see so many supporters down at our Green Energy Park supporting their team. That’s how every home game should be and that game was definitely one of the best supported games of the competition. So well done to all involved with that day. Lastly our juniors have started their season, the link between juniors and seniors is what other clubs in this region lack, at the Whitsunday Raiders we are very fortunate we have plenty of senior players involved in coaching certain junior grades; Ronny, ,Shayne, Morty, Pratty, Jimmy Cochrane, Bill Crossley, Jimmy Smith, Madison, and Alex. Our juniors are the future of this club and great to see their participation numbers consistent to seasons gone by. Well done to all the supporters and volunteers that make this rugby club run. You are the pulse that makes this club live and we thank you!!
