The entrepreneurial spirit has been a strong feature of our corpo- rate culture ever since we began trading in 1959. It drives us to constantly search out new solutions that simplify for our customers and refjne our products and services. We develop systems for industrial buildings, roofs, walls and ceil- ings that streamline both the construction process and energy use. Our innovative click functionality makes installation faster, easier and more ergonomic. We have developed our own, time-saving CAD software that simplifjes the design process and guarantees the accuracy of each order. At Lindab, product development is constantly in focus. There is always something that we can do to simplify construction.

The ventilation and heating of buildings accounts for a large proportion of energy use in Europe. This has spurred us on to continue to develop products and processes that reduce the ecological footprint. By the mid-1970s, we had launched Lindab Safe, our airtight ventilation system that saves electricity as well as money. Over the years, many energy effjcient products have been rolled out, and we have been in the vanguard of development to meet new legislation and standards. and distributors. We have a presence in more than 125 locations in

• ver 30 countries throughout the world, and have local production

facilities in 20 or so places. We develop and build our local branches according to local cri-

meet the demands of the various different geographic markets. By using streamlined logistics systems, we ensure that the right product gets to the right place at the right time. In other words, we are always close by – where our customers are.

We simplify construction by combining a specially selected range of parts, creating a set of components that is both more cost effective and stronger than the sum of its parts. Our circular duct systems have many advantages – they are airtight, energy effjcient and durable. This translates into both minimised power losses and lower energy costs. We were early to the market with our proprietary product range, Lindab Safe, where each component works to optimise the entire ventilation system. Our Comfort range has been developed with creating a sustain- able, healthy and productive indoor climate in mind, as well as to make fjne tuning to satisfy aesthetic and practical requirements that much easier. The range includes components for heating, cooling and ventilating. We offer products for supply and exhaust air, waterborne sys- tems and a complete range of items for silencers. We simplify construction. By thinking ‘small’ and making everything a little easier.

Think less. Because less is more. Particularly when you use our steel products. Steel is one of the few materials that are almost one hundred percent recyclable. This means that less raw materials are used and less carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Steel allows us to design solutions which, although strong, are still very light in weight. This means less effort is required to erect our build- ings, the cost of transporting materials out to the construction site is lower and less fuel is consumed. Thanks to the steel, we can also create effective insulation and energy-effjcient ventilation solutions. This means that less energy is wasted. Today, Lindab has a presence in more than 30 countries, from Russia in the east to the US in the west. But our story began in a small community in southern Sweden, with Iron Age monu- ments as our nearest neighbour. It was here that Lindab was founded half a century ago in a landscape of pastures, fields and boulder ridges. And our head office is still here. Simplifying construction and applying a down to earth and or- dered approach have been the cornerstones of our business ever since 1959, and continue to be just as important. Not only at Grevie on Bjärehalvön in our southern Swedish hinterland, but also in all the 125 locations around the world that we have made our own.
